Our Mr. Ricky Lau has been appointed as a Civil Celebrant of Marriages since 2016. He has performed numerous ceremonies for clients at the locations of their choice within Hong Kong jurisdiction. Apart from conducting the ceremonies, he also guides clients on the formalities of getting married from the very first step of filing a Notice of Intended Marriage until the signing of a Marriage Certificate.

Our Mr. Ricky Lau is a Notary Public appointed by the High Court of the Hong Kong. All the Notary Public in Hong Kong are solicitors qualified in Hong Kong with at least 7 years experience. Currently, there are around 400 Notary Public in Hong Kong out of more than 11,000 qualified solicitors. Our Notarial Services include preparing, witnessing or certifying documents that need to be used abroad and include specifically the following:

• Authenticating personal documents and information for immigration or emigration purposes, or to apply to marry or to work abroad, such as education or professional qualifications, body check report or declarations of freedom to marry.
• Certifying true copy of original documents including passports, marriage certificates, birth and death certificates, divorce decrees and orders, academic qualifications, transcripts and professional qualification certificates.
• Preparing and authenticating powers of attorney for use overseas
• Authenticating company and business documents and transactions or providing certificates as to the status of a company or the identity of its directors.
• Witnessing documents relating to purchase, sale or mortgage of land and property abroad.
• Administering oaths and affirmations for filing with foreign courts or administrative offices.
• Obtaining Apostille of documents from the High Court Hong Kong, when the documents require further authentication by Apostilles.
